We have a pretty short hiring process. The first phone screening is done by the Head of Engineering and usually takes 30 minutes. If the candidate seems to fit well, he is invited for a personal interview. In this interview, the candidate is asked to present one of his previous works. If the candidate does not have a project that he can or would like to present, we ask him to complete a take-home task. For junior developers, this consists of the implementation of a small project. For senior developers the task consists of the analysis of a small project with various problems. If everything works out the candidate get's an offer right after this interview.
