Heroku (a subsidiary of Salesforce) has a straightforward interview process that involves discussing the real-world consequences of getting a simple piece of software ready for production.

Our internal hiring guide explicitly asks interviewers not to quiz candidates on trivial knowledge. We lean on discussing their experience, specific projects, and reviewing their short take-home test (under 2 hours). This was true when I was hired a year and a half ago and remains true today.

4Degrees also finishes the interview process by introducing final round candidates to their potential team members in several small meetings and a dinner or lunch.

When interviewing with Facebook for a Front End Engineering position all questions are practical ones that people in this role had to solve in the past. For this reason I believe it passes the criteria defined.
